eReadly (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates ereadly.com and the eReadly browser extension. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
When you create an account, we collect your email address. We use a one-time passcode (OTP) system — no account information or passwords are ever stored.
We store the device name and email address(es) you register for e-reader delivery. This is required to send content to your device.
When you use eReadly to send an article, we receive the URL of that page. We fetch and process the page content to produce a clean EPUB file, deliver it, and then store a record of the job (URL, status, timestamp) in your send history.
We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps. This data is used for security monitoring and is not sold or shared with third parties.
Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure located in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to third-party services.
We use the following third-party providers:
Send history and uploaded files are retained according to your plan: 30 days (Basic), 90 days (Pro), or indefinitely (Unlimited). Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
You have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of eReadly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
